Welcome back to another exciting term at Virtual School Victoria! As we embark on Term 2, I extend a warm welcome to all our students, families, and staff. I hope that this term brings you renewed energy, fresh opportunities for growth, and memorable learning experiences.

April marks Autism Awareness Month, a time dedicated to promoting understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for autistic people and their families. At VSV, we embrace diversity and strive to create an environment where every student, their family and our staff members feel valued and supported. We will use this month as an opportunity to foster empathy and enhance our awareness of the unique strengths and challenges of autism.

As we approach Anzac Day, we take a moment to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. It is also a time to pay tribute to their legacy and honour their courage and service. The impact of war lasts generations and there are very few of us who have not been impacted.  Lest we forget.

In this edition of VSV Life, you will find inspiring stories, important announcements, and valuable resources to support your learning journey. I encourage you to actively engage with the content and participate in the vibrant community that makes VSV such a unique school.

Wishing you all a successful and fulfilling Term 2!

Warm regards,

Executive Principal Fiona Webster
