Year 11 student, Rosie, recently represented Australia in Cross-Country (XC) Skiing at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon, South Korea.
Rosie was the best-placed Australian XC skier in all three races.
Rosie, who grew up at the base of Falls Creek, has been on skis as soon as she could walk.
Rosie’s mum Carolyn, who also teaches at VSV, said that Virtual School Victoria has enabled Rosie to be a Youth Olympic athlete while also receiving a good education.
