Congratulations to Year 10 student, Maeve, who has been selected for the University of Melbourne’s Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program, Class of 2025.
Maeve’s impressive academic performance, community involvement and leadership skills helped her secure this prestigious opportunity.
Over the next two years, Maeve will experience an exciting program of events and activities that will expand her academic and personal horizons.
When Maeve is not at school, she loves hanging out with her “best study companions” – her two dogs and one cat. Maeve says that her cat “tends to think she is much more important than studying!”
Maeve also enjoys reading; her favourite genre is fantasy. She is also an experienced scout who volunteers with the Joey Scout section.
