VSV’s Middle Year’s Camp was right on target for fantastic experiences, ranging from archery through to kayaking.

Thirty-five Year 7-10 students enjoyed Camp Kiah for two nights and three days, and another 35 students attended day camp.

For many students, this was their very first experience of a school camp.

Middle School Leader, Adrienne Warner, enthused that it was great to hear students comment on how they were able to “go on school camp” even if it was just for the day.

‘A lot of students said they are already looking forward to their next camp. One student said he had his “best day ever at school”,’ she said.

Parent feedback has also been glowing.

“My child had the most amazing time and loved it so much. He loved the activities and food and made some lovely friends…He didn’t stop talking about how much fun he had for the rest of the week…he had a ball!” shared one parent.

Middle Years camp was part of Connect Week. This week supports VSV’s goals of fostering happy, active and healthy students, building strong connections within our school community and improving student outcomes.
