Principal Fiona Webster’s message – celebrating our community

As we head into November, we’re preparing for a wide range of events that mark the end of the school year. Our Unit 3 and 4 VCE students have started their exams and their futures beckon. Many of our Middle Years students are heading off on camp and our Year sixes are preparing for graduation from Primary School and the transition to High School.

I am immensely proud of all our VSV students. Each has their own reason for enrolling in this very different school.  Many have been on an educational odyssey filled with challenges and triumphs. Others are at VSV so that they can pursue their passions, or travel with family. It’s a rich tapestry.

Our students’ accomplishments would not be possible without the steadfast support of their parents or carers. The countless hours spent offering guidance, encouragement, and unwavering love are instrumental in shaping these remarkable individuals. I understand it’s not always easy, but rest assured your commitment is, and will always be appreciated.

I am very much looking forward to this year’s end of year events and the VCE Valedictory Dinner. This is where we can more formally acknowledge and celebrate the growth and achievements of students in this remarkable school.

In this edition of VSV Life, we celebrate the accomplishments of our students and the families that stand beside them.
