I hope this message finds you well as we head into the winter months. It’s been wonderful seeing many of you at school events and seminars this term. I’m looking forward to more opportunities to gather in person and virtually next term.

I have an important announcement to make. Our school will be participating in a School Review in Term 3. This is something that all Victorian schools have to do every four years.

The review helps us measure our performance, reflect on our programs, and ensure we’re meeting the needs of our students’ learning and wellbeing. It’s an opportunity for us to celebrate our achievements, identify areas for improvement, and create our School Strategic Plan for the next four years. The process also ensures we comply with the minimum standard for curriculum and student learning.

Students, parents/carers and community members are encouraged to get involved in this process. Here’s how you can participate:

  1. Stay informed: Keep an eye out for updates about the School Review through our school’s communication channels. We’ll share important dates and information with you regularly.
  2. Surveys and feedback: Your opinion matters! Take part in surveys and provide feedback on different aspects of our school’s performance. Your input will help us understand our strengths and areas where we can improve.
  3. Student and parent focus groups: We value your perspective. Join us for focus groups where you can share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences. Your participation will be invaluable during the review process.

The School Review is not a one-time event. It’s an ongoing process that starts with the pre-review self-evaluation and continues with post-review activities. By staying engaged, we can keep improving and provide the best learning environment for our students.

Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our school community. Together, we can make a difference and create an exceptional educational experience for all in the next four years and beyond.
