Primary students, supervisors and teachers braved the elements to connect with each other on a terrific adventure at Bundoora Park Farm on the 29th of March.
While students enjoyed a safari-style tour through the native animal paddock on an electric vehicle, observing kangaroos, emus and ducks, their parents and carers connected with each other in the café.
Although it poured with rain for most of the day, it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. In fact, one student mentioned that he didn’t care so much about the rain, he was quite happy in his T-shirt.
Students visited the barns and saw guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, alpacas and donkeys. Hand feeding Ben the Clydesdale horse was certainly a highlight for many students and teachers. The wet playground didn’t stop many from having fun and trying out the equipment. A small group even enjoyed a good game of Uno after lunch and found more opportunities to connect.
