Over 60 Foundation-Year 6 Virtual School Victoria (VSV) students recently had the opportunity to come together at a Virtual Connect Day.
Students participated in an online excursion to Scienceworks called Blast off live! It was a fantastic morning learning about space, rockets and life as an astronaut.
Highlights of the day included the astronaut dance and learning how to eat, drink, brush your teeth and go to the toilet in space!
Our students in Years 7-10 are currently enjoying their Connect Week running from the 16th-20th August. Special thanks to the incredible teachers who have planned fun and engaging sessions.
Some of the activities being enjoyed by students include:
• A virtual excursion to Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary
• An opening ceremony with guest speakers
• Wellbeing workshop
• Careers workshops
• Student Voice Choices of the Voices
• Book Week celebrations
• Creative opportunities to get involved with our inner artist.
Connect Day and Week both support VSV’s goal of improving student outcomes, engagement, and wellbeing.
