Virtual School Victoria (VSV) continues its work to make the school a safe and inclusive space, with VSV staff recently attending a Safe Schools professional development session.
The session was led by two members of the Department of Education and Training’s Safe Schools team and focused on how teachers can better support LGTBQI students.
Staff appreciated the thorough and engaging presentation which shared key findings and the latest approaches to supporting gender diverse and LGTBQI students in Victorian schools.
The dynamic session provided a valuable forum for VSV staff members to share their views on the best ways to support students.
VSV staff are looking forward to implementing their learnings and further supporting the school’s diverse and vibrant community.
