Congratulations to Year 7 student, Daisy, whose artwork will be used in an advertisement and other promotional materials for the Werribee River Association.

Daisy won her age category in a competition to design a poster for the Bacchus Marsh Platypus Alliance, Melbourne Water’s Waterwatch program and the Werribee River Association.

Another VSV student, Sophie, received a special merit award for her age category in the same competition.

The campaign seeks to raise awareness of the issue of platypuses becoming tangled in litter that is washed into rivers and creeks from the street.
