Year 9-10 Dance
Overview
If you love to learn about dance and want to explore different kinds of dancing, this subject is for you.
What do you do?
There are four modules to complete. Each module explores different areas of dance including dance around the world, Indigenous dance, dance styles and choreographers. You will also develop ideas for a dance and production design.
What skills do you develop?
You can work at your own level based on your experience of dance and will be given the opportunity to increase your technique and skills in choreography, as well as expand your knowledge of dance and the role it plays in different cultures.
Requirements
Internet is needed to access this course. Work will be completed and submitted online weekly.
Things you can do now
- Attend as many live dance performances as Dance is a performing art form.
- Watch a range of dance on YouTube.
