Year 7 Mathematics
Overview
Year 7 Mathematics covers statistics, geometry, measurement, percentages, fractions, decimals, probability, algebra and graphs. Each of the topics is introduced and explored using quizzes, online lessons, investigations and project work.
What do you do?
You will be able to attend online lessons. The online lessons give you the chance to collaborate with your peers and teachers to learn in an interactive way.
In each module there is a mathematical project which helps you to explore the topic further and demonstrate your understanding. The project encompasses and requires you to apply the knowledge learnt from the current and all previous weeks.
What skills do you develop?
You will develop skills in problem solving, data analysis, number patterns and digital technology. You will use these skills in different areas throughout your life.
