Year 7 – 12 school camp program
We have expanded our camp program to include a second camp.
When: The first camp has been cancelled to help limit the spread of coronavirus. The second camp is scheduled for Term 4 (mid-late October).
Venue: The venue varies each year. Previous locations have ranged from an Urban Camp in Parkville to Lady Northcote YMCA camp in Rowsley (near Bacchus Marsh). We have also held camps in the Grampians and near Anglesea.
Cost: Past camps have ranged in price from $195 – $280 depending on the venue. This includes accommodation for two nights, meals and activities. You may be able to use CSEF funding to attend camp.
Things we do: We run a variety of activities at our camps. These include: a high and low ropes adventure course, giant swing, flying fox, abseiling and rock climbing, mountain biking, canoeing and archery. Our urban camp has activities such as the Melbourne zoo, ice skating and much more.
Travel arrangements: There are two options for students to travel to camp. The first option is for a parent or carer to bring the student to camp. The second option is for students to meet VSV teachers at Southern Cross Station and travel together by train.
