As President of our School Council, I’m proud to share how we work with families, staff and our wider community to guide our school’s future. Our Council isn’t just another meeting group — it’s a partnership. Together we set direction, review priorities, oversee budgets and make sure every decision puts students first.
Our school is unique. We deliver virtual and blended learning to students across Victoria — from those in remote areas to high achievers in sport or the arts, to students managing health challenges or seeking subjects not offered locally. Whatever the reason, every student deserves quality education and a strong sense of belonging. Our evidence-based model for virtual learning keeps relationships and wellbeing at the heart of teaching.
Our 2023-2027 Strategic Plan sets ambitious targets that directly benefit your child:
- Boost learning outcomes in literacy and numeracy
- Improve VCE performance scores
- Strengthen student voice and engagement
- Enhance wellbeing and connectedness
- Support successful transitions to other educational pathways
We’re not just delivering curriculum—we’re revolutionising how virtual education works, backed by research and driven by what our community needs.
Formed just three years ago, our School Council brings together parents, staff and community members with fresh perspectives and shared purpose. We meet regularly to ensure our programs and policies reflect real needs. This collaboration helps us build a school where students can thrive and pursue their passions.

Your voice matters. In virtual learning, families are a crucial part of the team — supporting, encouraging and giving insights about what works. By sharing your experience and ideas with the Council, you directly shape the quality and direction of our school. If you’re interested in learning more or joining our School Council, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether you bring professional skills, parenting experience or simply a passion for education, there’s a place for you. Together we can continue to grow a school without boundaries, where every student has the chance to succeed.
