The Games Club at Virtual School Victoria (VSV) has had another winning year, with students enjoying an interactive onsite end-of-year event at the Thornbury campus.
Here’s what some of the students had to say about the club:
- “Whether you’re an advanced gamer or just a newbie, no problem, because Games Club is the perfect opportunity to make friends and have fun with some games.” Bailey.
- “Games Club is an enjoyable space. It’s a good place with good people, and I’m glad I joined.” Mikey.
- “My experience over three years at Games Club has been only positive… It’s welcoming to newcomers and fun for more experienced gamers.” Brandon E.
- Games Club is about connecting with other people of different ages. You can be involved in many ways and it’s ok if you don’t participate in all the activities and just talk instead. This club is very inclusive.” Brooke
Jordan Anderson, who organises the club with Pippa, reflected, “Games Day was a real celebration of friendships and a chance for long-time e-friends to connect in person. I’m really proud of how each member has contributed to the community in their own unique way,” he said.
