Three VSV students have been selected to perform in the elite Top Class Dance performance as part of the VCE Season of Excellence 2024.
Huge congratulations to Levi, Ruby and Poppy.
Poppy’s mother Allison enthused that studying VCE Dance through Virtual School Victoria was “the best decision Poppy could have made for her confidence, enjoyment, results and career opportunities.”
“When considering subjects for Year 12, we decided it was best for Poppy to do subjects she loves. We hoped her passion would be reflected in her results… and (Poppy) did receive the ATAR required to get into her chosen degree, Occupational Therapy!”
“I would encourage anyone who has a passion for a subject which is not offered in their school to enrol with VSV,” said Allison.
Allison also shared that she believes the VSV model of independent learning, submitting work online and professional email communication will make Poppy’s transition to university easier.
Congratulations to Levi and Ruby’s teacher, Annette Evans and Poppy’s teacher, Belinda Saltmarsh-Kram for supporting their students to achieve excellence in Year 12. Special shout out to Cheryl Kaloger who nurtured all three students’ talents while in Year 11.
Top Class is an annual concert series coordinated by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA). Students will perform in March at the Melbourne Recital Centre.
