Our F-6 students and teachers recently took a virtual tour to old Parliament House in Canberra. The students enjoyed exploring the nooks and crannies of the old building, counting the clocks and learning about historic figures.

Principal Fiona Webster, who also attended the tour, said that the teachers did a stellar job adapting an excursion that was intended for older students.

“Even our youngest students were highly engaged in the tour and activities. The teachers really brought it to life for us all,” she said.

Special thanks to Carly McDermott and the Primary team for organising and running such an interesting and fun event.
