Some of our year 5 and 6 students were recently toy reviewers for the publication Just Kidding. The exercise proved to be lot of fun for the students and educational.
The students were sent a toy over the school holidays, along with some guidance on how to write a review. The process of writing a review helped develop students’ critical thinking and writing skills. Reviewing the toys also helped students use their creativity, imagination and to re-use materials in a sustainable way.
Students were encouraged to write concisely and use adjectives or adverbs to clearly share their thoughts.
Congratulations to Emily, Pavitra, Joshua and Tahlia whose reviews were published in the latest edition.
