Requirements
Incursions and excursions are a required component of the VCE VM, providing students with applied learning experiences that connect classroom instruction to real-world contexts.
VSV recognises that some students may be unable to attend in-person events such as excursions and incursions due to the nature of their individual circumstances (VET, distance, medical circumstances etc.). These circumstances are considered when determining exemptions from attendance. Students and parents/carers will need to follow the exemption process (Excursion exemption process), with the final decision being made by the Instructional Leader and communicated to the student and their parent or carer at the beginning of the year.
Additionally you will require:
- Online access to VSV online
- There are no textbook requirements for this course.
Things to think about
It is important to note that Literacy does not receive a study score, so it will not count to receiving an ATAR. If you are intending to study Literacy, you will be undertaking a VCE VM program with the intention of achieving a non-scored senior certificate.
You will be required to complete and upload submission tasks to demonstrate your understanding of the course learning outcomes.
Please note that evidence of learning is a requirement to obtain a satisfactory result.
Things you can do now
You are expected to:
- Attend and actively engage in weekly online lessons
- Complete online coursework and meet submission task deadlines to build strong study habits.
There are no prerequisites for starting this course.
