School Council: A Letter from the President

Dear Families,

I’m writing to share that I will be relocating to London later this year and will therefore be stepping down from my role as Chair of the VSV School Council.

I feel incredibly proud of the progress the Council has made over the past year. The self‑assessment we undertook at the end of last year has already strengthened the way we work together, and the quality of our conversations reflects a more confident, mature and strategically focused Council.

I want to express my full confidence in our current councillors, including our newly appointed parent councillors. Each brings insight, commitment and a genuine care for the school. Their willingness to engage thoughtfully and work collaboratively gives me great assurance that the Council will continue to advance VSV’s strategic direction with clarity and purpose.

While the new Chair has not yet been appointed, I have every belief that the Council will select someone who will lead with integrity and build on the strong foundations now in place.

Thank you for the trust and support you have shown me; I will continue to follow VSV’s journey from afar!

Tara Blanchy

School Council President
