We’re excited to share opportunities that connect our school community and beyond. From informative webinars to events and initiatives of interest, these experiences offer ways to engage, learn and connect with like-minded others.

From the Library

With the school holidays fast approaching, my thoughts turn to catching up with a good read or two.  For keen readers here at VSV, the following may inspire your own reading:

Ebooks and Audiobooks @ VSV (ePlatform)https://vsv.eplatform.co/ – A great and wide-ranging collection of ebooks and audiobooks available to VSV staff and students.  There are books galore, including many old favourites and exciting new titles – the collection is updated and additions made regularly.

Registration is easy – Students can register via the ePlatform website and enter their VSV student number as their login, as this will be used to confirm registration

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge 2026: Stories to discover. Stories to tell. Now in its 21st year and still going strong, this reading event promotes the joy of reading and is commended as a fantastic opportunity to explore your reading and to discover new worlds and vistas.

VSV students (Foundation to Year 10) are warmly invited to register.  To participate, simply:

To successfully complete the Challenge, students from Prep to Year 2 are encouraged to read or ‘experience’ 30 books, while students from Years 3 to 10 are challenged to read 15 books.
